Winter Activity Program Description

WEA offers a unique set of Victoria BC & Vancouver Island based winter programs that create life-enhancing learning experiences while exposing youth to winter outdoor opportunities that are not often accessible. WEA's winter programs introduce (and educate) our participants to new areas, cultures and unique natural environments. We run everything from Vancouver Island snowshoe tours to ski trips to winter survival skills. By utilizing Vancouver Island ski hills that offer both unique terrain features and snow conditions, we are able to provide our participants with life enhancing learning experiences and rapidly improve both their skiing / boarding abilities and on snow decision-making skills. Description: Are you an adult or family looking for ski "lessons near me"? Want to learn how to ski for the first time on Vancouver Island? Maybe you have skied at Mount Washington for years and just want to tweak your technique? You won't get a better quality ski learning experience anywhere else! Give us a call and we will organize a custom ski lesson program at Mount Cain with top notch ski instructors and excellent food. Transportation is available from Victoria BC and other island communities.

Everyone has heard of Mount Washington but have you heard of Mount Cain? Mount Cain is a quiet, local ski resort located on Northern Vancouver Island approximately 1 hour and 45 min north of Campbell River BC. Don’t let the small size of Cain fool you! With plenty of powder from an annual average snowfall of over 15 meters (38 feet), no crowds and varied terrain to explore, Mount Cain is one of Canada’s best kept secrets. We also have the ability to provide instruction and similar experiences at certain other BC & Alberta resorts.

Description: Tired of driving all the way to Mount Washington to experience a white winter? Go for a private SnowVenture, a Vancouver Island snowshoe tour based out of Victoria BC. Get outside with your friends or family and experience a fun-filled day of snow-shoeing, sledding, amazing views, hot chocolate & great food. WEA will pick you up and transport you to a snow-covered winter wonderland within 30 min - 3 hours depending on your location and current snow conditions. Live in another city on Vancouver Island like Duncan, Nanaimo or Comox? Don't worry, we can run a program for you too!
